and to the poplars in front of the block from the street you once used to live on,
to be able to (re)make yourself a comfortable childhood

out of nothing or just by thinking to the
days spent behind the block,
in the grass glittering with beetles and the
smiles of the girls living on the 2nd floor
with names of forest fruit and flowers with strong fragrance

anyway
humanity does not need you as an adult
and work (it’s been proved) will not free you
while life is correctly seen only by means of their communication channels
and not distorted as you see it from your office or from home

and still
there is no smart Matrix free of agents
named Zion or hell knows how else
but a permanently controlled déjà vu sensation
out of which no escape is possible in this very world
