There stood alone, shop named life
Behind the counter, bored keeper with a dead cold stare "Let me the never ending pack of merries and happiness Offering a blank cheque leaf" I said Without a frown, he took leaf and handed me the silk bag "Take the first exit and enjoy your goodies" His voice was calm I rushed towards it, eager to celebrate and there were many I hurried back to the shop, he stood there, expecting "All those exits are marked "after life.."" I was angry and felt dejected "And all of them are towards darker alleys, silent and no gates to let you out" "Take none and go back through the entrance" He said "You will be back here Paying for the sacks again and again This store is open Twenty-four hours and seven days a week, so the name is life" "You are a cheater" before letting the sob I managed to utter There was a light in his eyes, enjoying my agony "Millions left and millions will come again and again Wishing the same what you did I can't give you What there is not in the bag, not today or tomorrow" I opened the sack, spilling the goodies There were few crackers One label read two minutes hope The other said four seconds laughter I threw away, all of them Rushed towards the entrance and returned to the front of shop named "life"
